The new summer series is really one for the books! Every Saturday in July (excluding the weekend before July 4), we’re featuring activities focusing on animals and literacy.
Each week, a different animal resident will receive an enrichment activity in the shape of the first letter of the species – so the gorillas will be playing with a giant G, the lions with an enormous L and so on!
The series, dubbed “A is for Animal, B is for Book” will include educational chats from zookeepers and a book-reading by Big Joe the Storyteller at 11:00 a.m. We’ll also have a scavenger hunt for little zoo sleuths!

*Animals will receive their enrichment activity at 10:00 a.m. Time and animals are subject to change.
